RE :8.5.1 in Ubuntu karmic 64 Bit

Do your bits of GTK that are used in Notes come out quite blocky, such as the scroll bars, prompts ? I can see that it is moaning about WRONG ELF, which probably explains it, just wondering if yours is the same or there is something I can do to get Notes to use 32-bit libs?

Tried
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib32
but still finds /usr/lib and moans about WRONG ELF.

Annoying, because I cannot use a 32-bit OS.
